Just to give a little insight first, im 18 years old, Ive been smoking weed and cigarettes for 4 years everyday, i know this isn't good, but all of my friends do it and have not experienced even half of the problems or pains that i have.I've been in and out of the doctors for the past two years trying to get to the bottom of it with no luck. i've had all tests done i can think of, such as chest x-ray, ECG, blood tests and have had my blood pressure taken. The doctor says i'm all clear, but suggested i may be Hyperventilating or have acid reflux. I have had chest pain problems for about two years, they started off in the right side, where i have a Clicking Rib, but the pains have disappeared or have just been covered up by the much worse and scary pains in my left chest (heart area). My hearts pounds like crazy every time i smoke, but weed makes it a lot worse than cigarettes. I've always smoked joints mixed with Tobacco. Im short of breathe, anything i do leaves my heart rate higher and i get heart palpitations all the time.
It feels like a constant ache in my heart or as if someone is grabbing/squeezing it, and i can always feel my heart beating (heart palpitations). I get a slight burning pain that seems to move around my stomach and heart and i'm constantly burping as if i always have wind to bring up, before going to the doctors i was shitting myself thinking i was going to have a heart attack, but apparently my heart is clear, since getting results from the tests the pain has just got worse and worse to the point i cant even finish half of a joint, it is uncomfortable to lay in most positions and i wake up with heart palpitations every morning. i also get an ache under my armpit and in my upper left arm, hence why i was scared as these are symptoms of a heart attack. Ive seen a lot of people over the internet describing the same problem but no one has found a solution. I am going to quit smoking weed for definite, but weed has also caused me to experience these pains and palpitations after smoking cigarettes which i would rather not stop until i feel i'm completely off of the weed! i really want to know what this could be and if anyone else on this forum is experiencing the same or similar things? PLEASE HELP!

- I've read a few bits and pieces about Weller starting up a UK tour, he's hand picking the venues and dates himself, wonder if he'll include a couple of gigs over on the Emerald Isle? Even one in Dublin? He looks to be only doing one night in each city, all the major cities in Britain, (Newcastle, Glasgow,Liverpool,Birmingham,etc), fingers crossed!

Rif Independent Movement PDA Member
The Rif Independent Movement has become a Member of Paradiplomatic Affairs (PDA).
Right now all Rif diaspora independentist organisations fall under the umbrella name of the Rif Independent Movement, and the diaspora, with more than 3 millions Riffians in Europe, actually represents 50% of the entire Rif Republic population.
In the next few weeks the Rif Independent Movement will have many meetings in the Netherlands and Belgium in order to create a Rif National Congress, and after that, a Rif Government in Exile.
The Rif Independent Movement will be classified as a Nomadic Group with dues exempt status for 2013 and 2014. As the movement gains a foothold in Europe, and greater recognition and stability, we hope that the Rif Government in Exile will eventually evolve into a Sedentary Group.
The Regent of Paradiplomatic Affairs (PDA) will build a very basic website for whole movement for PR purposes, and PDA intends to assist the Rif Independent Movement in any way it can.

I haven't been here in a while, and even when I was, was not much of a frequent poster.
However, when I just counted 100 days of sobriety on my calendar, I felt inspired to
login and share my success story (so far) with you...First, I want to say that quitting marijuana was not easy for me. I smoked for almost 10 years
with maybe a handful of serious attempts at quitting (and many, many more half-hearted attempts).
I don't think I truly *wanted* to quit until maybe 3 years ago asI started getting older (I'm 29 years old
now), transitioned into a very serious profession, and felt like the years of smoking pot were
wearing me down on all levels. I don't need to tell you all the crap I was experiencing,
as I'm positive that you already know what that's like. In short, my health habits became shit,
I was always broke, and I missed out on a lot of good romantic relationships (and also
attracted all the wrong ones). I knew for the last 3 years that I wanted to quit, really really bad,
but something always got in the way. This is what has worked for me, so far...
One thing I realized about 6 months ago was that almost everyone I knew who was a
daily user like me had a traumatic past. Something happened to them, either in
childhood or in early adulthood (usually a loss or abuse of some kind), that really
changed how they think about themselves. It could be a really painful breakup, or
being bullied at school, rape, etc... but something was there, and that something was
usually pushed out of conscious awareness with marijuana. That is the core benefit of
pot for many of its users, I believe. It naturally occurred to me then that in order to break
free from marijuana, I had to do some personal work around my own traumatic history.
I went into therapy last year, andover time, began to realize on my own that the reason
I kept using, even though the trauma was in the past, was both so I could not think about it
AND because I was always putting myself at risk for being re-traumatized. Naturally, using pot
means youprobably associate with socially deviant people...some of whom may take
advantage ofyou, have their own issues that they put on you, hurt you in some way, etc...
It was at this point that I realized that I needed to achieve a 'safe place' in my life, so I
was no longer at risk for being hurt by anyone and could feel comfortable, before I could
seriously quit pot. You know what I did? I moved the heck out of my roommates'
apartment where I was being abused, and moved in with someone I had already known
for a long time who didn't use and I knew I could feel safe with. Wouldn't you know, the
first day that I moved out was the first day of my sobriety.
So what happened between Day 1 and Day 100?
The first few days were rough. I had fantasies of buying marijuana and felt pretty irritable.
But it wasn't horrible. I kept myself occupied (hockeyadvice talks about this a lot in tips
for the first few days of sobriety). I read a lot, because I'm kind of a nerd. I went to the gym.
I washed my car. I watched movies. I ate more food. That sort of thing. The rest of that first
month was also tough, because since I was no longer high, I started to become aware of
some of the stupid shit that would leave my mouth without me realizing it, how high I acted
(even when I was not high), etc... This was a little embarrassing for me to realize, and I
might have wanted to use again had I not removed myself from that abusive roommate
situation I was in. I tried to have more conscious control over some of my behaviors, which
began to work for me, but it was tough because I was still having STRONG emotional
reactions to certain people and situations on the inside. This took some time for me to get
a hold on, but after 1-2 months, I'd say I was pretty good.I think that what I have been doing
during the last month or so is what has REALLY worked for me though. I put myself on a
near 100% raw food diet, did a lot of research on health and wellness, and started exercising
just about every day. I also made it a point to get out in the sun more and go to the beach. I
drank nothing but water, and ate nothing butfruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts, and fish.
I looked for other ways to enhance my physical appearance, and started using raw honey on
my face for a face mask (look it up online...it works wonders). My skin looks much better than
it did a few months ago, I'm tanned now, have a toned/athletic physique, and WAY more energy.
I also bought some new clothes to boost my confidence. I've been going out more often with friends,
and seeing people I used to know from almost 10 years ago who don't smoke pot that I lost touch
with because of my ways. My personality has way more confidence to it now, I don't get
paranoid like I used to, I sleep better, am getting more looks from the ladies (the right ones!), etc...I can't really say that this time it was tough. All the other times I tried, it was a constant
fighting battle. All it would take was a bad day/week, or being at a party or something and
thinking that I could use since I was no longer 'addicted', and I would fall off the wagon and
hate myself for it a couple days later when I was picking up again. The reason it wasn't tough
this time, I truly believe, is because I set up the conditions in my life (i.e. my living situation) so
that I wouldn't be triggered to keep numbing myself. If you are in a bad relationship (or several),
you need to find a way out and not go back to them. You have to find someone who is pot-free,
will be a true friend (or family member) to you, and will support your recovery. Go spend time
with them. Get into therapy too, and do a lot of research on health and wellness. If you truly,
truly want change...the secret is that you have to change everything.Now, at 100 days, I am confident that I have finally put weed behind me. But more than that, I've
put my adolescent boyish self behind me. I've learned how to be a more mature, responsible,
healthy, 29-year-old man. I've learned healthier coping strategies, and that the main component
of my recovery (and will probably be in many of yours') has been sorting through my past.By no means is my journey done. In many ways, I feel it is only beginning. When I look in
the mirror now, I no longer see the resemblance of an addict. Although I am healthier
today, it means I have had to start asking myself new questions about who I am and the
life I want to live now that I am clean. These questions, and there answers, are always
changing, but the one thing that remains consistent for me today is that I finally feel free
from the habits and the personality that kept me stuck in a rut for a decade. I finally like
who I am, and am learning to love myself more each day, one day at a time...
A major thanks to hockeyadvice for his videos. You're a smart man, and I am impressed with
your maturity and commitment to life. Keep doing the good work.I will update again when I hit 6 months.

Your nature is Peace and Happiness. Thoughts are the obstacles to
realisation. One’s meditation or concentration is meant to get rid of
obstacles and not to gain the Self. Does anyone remain apart from
the Self? No! The true nature of the Self is declared to be Peace. If
the same peace is not found, the non-finding is only a thought which
is alien to the Self. One practises meditation only to get rid of these
alien fancies. So, then, a thought must be quelled as soon as it rises.
Whenever a thought arises, do not be carried away by it. You become
aware of the body when you forget the Self. But can you forget the
Self? Being the Self how can you forget it? There must be two
selves for one to forget the other. It is absurd. So the Self is not
depressed; it is not imperfect: it is ever happy. The contrary feeling
is a mere thought which has actually no stamina in it. Be rid of
thoughts. Why should one attempt meditation? Being the Self one
remains always realised, only be free from thoughts.
You think that your health does not permit your meditation. This
depression must be traced to its origin. The origin is the wrong
identification of the body with the Self. The disease is not of the
Self. It is of the body. But the body does not come and tell you that
it is possessed by the disease. It is you who say it. Why? Because
you have wrongly identified yourself with the body.
The body itself is a thought. Be as you really are. There is no
reason to be depressed.

ive gone for walks, that didnt work, ive watched movies, tried vid games, and tried to do some of my art. nothing has been able to distract me from my urges of wanting to smoke. the only things stopping me are that i needa get a job in order to have the money for pot and my bf. any ideas or suggestions of how to stop or distract myself from the urge.

I have managed to find the original manufacturer who sold these wire accessories in the Pfaltzgraff catalog. They actually are really a wholesale company and so many of the things they offer are in lots of varying sizes. I have some extra of both the hanging and standing courting candles I would like to sell for $5 each. The standing courting candle is a little different than the catalog, although the company still sells both I just haven't seen the other one offered yet. Just in case you're particular, there's an extra swirl in the base of the ones I have and they're 3/4" shorter. I don't know yet how many I want to sell, but if you're interested, please pm me and I'll make a decision. I also have a couple pie cooling racks made by the same company, hold 2 pies, 8.00 each. I'll try to get a better picture if there's interest. Thanks.

Check out this fascinating experiment. I borrowed this from a recent post on the "leaves" subreddit."A researcher back in the 70's did an experiment with rats to investigate why some Humans become addicted to substances while others don't.
He put group A in cages and group B in an open pen with social interaction and a more pleasant environment. This was aptly named Rat Park.
Then he made the both groups addicted to heroin.
Group A ended up choosing heroin over eating. Group B had a few stragglers but the vast majority took enough comfort in the community and environment that they abstained and stopped choosing to ingest the highly cognitively addictive substance.
His conclusion: The rats that viewed the world as their park, rather than their cage, were far more likely to go back to living a productive life post-addiction."

Bought a bag of toy china dishes at the thrift store today. Had what I thought was a little china toaster. When I got home, it turned out to be exactly like the Heritage napkin holder. Only about 1" long. The only problem is the butterflies on the other side, but I'm just going to put it on my minis shelf and turn that side to the wall.

Hola, quería preguntarles cuales son los tiempos de las aplicaciones por el lado de Quebec, según la pagina son de 52 meses, pero me resisto a creer que son mayores que los tiempos cuando apliqué hace 6 años, será que si aplico por el lado de Quebec pasará de nuevo la historia de los procesos Federales anteriores a 2008? el backlog parece más largo que cuando inicié por el lado federal hace ya 6 años largos.

It's not often that a website gets the opportunity to move to somewhere better - well that's exactly what we have planned for Around Montmorillon Forum.Unfortunately, due to the style of forum used on the Lefora site, it no longer really suit our needs - it's really difficult to customize and develop without havingto depositing money into Lefora's kitty and making it a paid site. Of course this is possible, but should we go down that route we would then have no option but to heavily invest on commercial advertising to pay for the service. This I believe is not the best way forward.
So, we considered our options and the best one we feel is to find a benefactor willing to provide hostings services to keep us running - and I am very pleased to report that such a benefactor has indeed been found.
So, with a fanfare of trumpets and a crash of the cymbals I would like to introduce our new residence at... www.aroundmontmorillon.com
Currently we're still setting up and developing the various sections of the new forum so we're not quite ready to release it into the wild, so to speak, so registration is available at the moment through invitation. If you'd like to 'get the movers in' and come across with us, you'd be most welcome - simply reply to this post requesting membership and I'll contact you privately to arrange this.
I still keep this site open, although I sincerely hope that you'll all join us at the new home. Lefora must be thanked for allowing us this facility and I wish them all the best.

Hola a todos, el tiempo vuela, llegue a Canada un 26 de febrero de 2012, hoy desde un punto de vista mas maduro, realista y sin vendas en los ojos puedo decir que chimbaaaaa esta experiencia de vida! simplemente no me arrepiento de haber hecho este proceso de estar empezando de cero y de arriesgar todo un futuro profesional en Colombia.
Amo mi pais como un putas, extrano mi familia, amigos, el climaaaa, pero la verdad aca en la distancia me encontre mas a mi mismo y me gusta esta nueva manera de vivir, me siento mas libre, mas tranquilo y sin tantas etiquetas en la cabeza, simplemente aca soy yo y punto.
Con esto no quiero decir que sea facil o el paraiso, simplemente creo que hay lugares q van mas acordes a tus filosofias de vida y a tu escencia como ser humano, yo me atreveria a decir que si tu eres alguien que tiene sed de poder, de reconocimientos, de dinero y de lujos, tal ves tu proceso de adaptacion va a ser totalmente diferente al mio. y es que una de las cosas que mas me enamoran de esta nueva vida es eso su simplicidad aca no importa que ropa de marca vistes, en que conjunto recidencial vives, que modelo es tu carro, simplemente aca apesar de que hay clases sociales el manejo cultural es totalmente diferente al que yo habia estado acostumbrado por toda mi vida y lo q mas me enamora no hay gente en condiciones tan precarias, los ninos son amados por el gobierno y el gobierno trata de ayudar y tener planes para que sus padres puedan ofrecerles una calidad de vida.
Bueno hablando ahora sobre mi experiencia, en Octubre del ano pasado empeze un DEP en Contabilidad, aplique al programa Pret et Bourse y estudio full-time de lunes a viernes de 8.30h a 15:40h, si dios quiere y todo sale bien lo termino en el mes de Octubre de este ano.
Para los que vienen y no saben aca en Canada hay un programa que se llama Canada Explora, este programa esta disenado para estudiantes full-time es una beca que dan para ir a estudiar por un mes la lengua segunda en otra provincia, la beca incluye pago del curso, alojamiento, 3 cenas por dia, lo unico que debes pagar es el transporte y si te antojas d una cervecita o algo adicional.
Bien como en el mes de Julio tengo vacaciones en mi escuela, aplique a este programa y voila fui aceptado asi que en dos semanas voy a viajar a Halifax, Halifax es la capital de la provincia de Nova Scotia , mi curso inicia el 29 de Junio y termina el 3 de Agosto, voy a conocer otra parte de Canada y estare en una cultura anglofona asi que estoy mas feliz que una lombriz lol.Mi mayor reto iniciara despues de Octubre cuando inicie la busqueda de trabajo, por el momento disfruto este presente, mi vida transcurre entre el Colegio, el Gym, lr a nadar, encuentros con amigos, ir a cenar, tomar cervecitas o vinito, planes de pelicula y por supuesto como buen latino ir a rumbear de ves en cuando por que aca en Montreal tambien se rumbea!
A los que vienen les mando mis mejores energias, el proceso de adaptacion es como el proceso de seleccion de quebec, toca tener mucha paciencia, meterle la ficha y nunca perder la esperanza.
Si buscas un lugar seguro, tranquilo, con espacios verdes, buen sistema de transporte, oportunidades de estudio, tiempo para hacer deporte, multiculturalidad, conocer otras maneras de vivir y estas dispuesto a pagar estas 3 cuotas:
1. Entender que aca no es Colombia, que la cultura es diferente y se debe tolerar y respetar.
2. Vas a empezar de cero (que para mi no es de cero ya que vivir en otra cultura, conocer personas de todos los rincones del mundo, estar en contacto con dos idiomas como el Frances y el Ingles es un master que haces a nivel de riqueza cultural).
3. Y la cuota mas dura y dificil estar lejos de tu familia,Si estas seguro de pagar estas 3 cuotas, con la mano en el corazon te puedo decir esta experiencia te va a encantar!
