Just found out that buy-it-now will require immediate payment (unlike before where the seller could check yes or no to that option). Good to know especially if you're selling several like items that people might be combining for a postage discount, and once you select and list your type of auction (choosing on-line or buy it now), can't change it.

You know as a member of AroundMontmorillon you can post advertisements on this forum, but did you know you can help keep this forum alive? It needs you to pop in now and again to help keep it active. You joined for a reason and at the time thought it was a good idea, but where are you now?
Maybe you just joined to take advantage of free local advertising: Did you post an ad and manage to sell something? Do you own a business and got a new customer via AroundMontmorillon? If so why not take a couple of minutes to update your thread.
Without posts this forum could disappear along with your free advertising. It's a valuable source of local English speaking people so go on make a new post in one of the categories now, and help save it from falling in to the Gartempe and getting washed away for ever.

More than a nation, more than a nation to me...Some aspects of Molossia remind you of a nation. Some of a model train-size state.
Of course, you can make fun of it. President Kevin Baugh certainly doesn't mind the tougue-in-cheek. He's does have a real currency, based on something a little more necessary than missiles, tanks, or M16s, and he also receives real tourists from as far away as China or Italy.
But nowadays, to be truthful, Molossia is definitely more of a nation than We the [Corporations] of the United States, where Thomas Jefferson's 'subjects', oops (errata), 'citizens'...

Hi,
Thought it would be fun to compare our list of all Top 5 Patterns.
My picks in order:
Yorktowne
Folk Art
Village
TeaRose
Winterberry.
Although the top 3 have a distinctive 70's flair, they reigned supreme for a long time. TeaRose ruled the mid 80's to early 90's like no pattern before and Winterberry has been PFZ's top seasonal pattern since it was offered in 1991, not bad a 21 year run ;)
Let me know your thoughts.

We have just gotten back home after attending a reunion of my college class. We have such reunions every 5 years; this one was a major milestone one marking more years than seem possible.
Our class began with over 800, graduated with just over 500 of whom about 400 are still living. About 250 of the 400 came, most with wives, and a few with wives, children, or other family members. It was a nice time of reminiscing, visiting, and remembering old times. It is amazing how quickly old friendships and associations rekindle, even though in many/most cases there have been gaps of many years.
A long time ago I resolved never to miss any of my college, high school, or other group association reunions so long as I'm able to attend. This most recent very pleasant experience only strengthens that resolve.

Hi everyone, I think this is a great place to help pot heads like me that want to stop, keep up the great work, your insights and support deserve a weekly paycheck.
I suppose I should say a bit about how I ended up here. When I was 15 I was a straight A student who used to lecture others on how dangerous drugs and smoking could be (the friends I had mostly didn't smoke and they've all moved on to university or to travel the world), but then my family broke down around me, my mum moved us in with her new fiance whilst I was away camping, before I even knew she was divorcing my stepdad which was a real shock, to come home and find out your father figure has changed and I think that's around the time I deliberately started acting out, I stopped going to school through bluntly refusing, I was angry and depressed, and I stopped seeing the decent genuine friends I had there, I started hanging out with other kids that skived I took up smoking and would drink heavily most nights despite the fact I have never enjoyed alcohol. I occasionally smoked a bit of weed.
Then came my first complete loser boyfriend who led me to naively believe that harder drugs were ok, as he did them so often, at 16 - 18 (can't really remember) I was drinking, smoking, taking ecstasy and mephedrone on a daily basis despite it draining me of money and energy. Eventually I went on such a bender that I stayed in bed shaking and crying for about 4 days and I realized I had an addiction to white drugs, alcohol and cigarettes and I consciously decided I could no longer drink or take any drugs other than caffeine, pot and cigarettes or I would wind up dead... When I got out of bed on that fourth day all I wanted to do was smoke a fat joint.
I broke up with that loser only to land myself another one, but this guy only smoked weed and drank cider all day every day, and I ended up a total pot head for about 3 years with him. We broke up last year because i wanted him to cut down on his drinking, he must get through about 6 - 10 litres of cider a day (I heard recently that he has become delusional and started seeing snakes), and he said he would stop completely. But I discovered he had been stealing my debit card whilst I was to stoned to notice, taking out my money and downing numerous bottles of cider in a graveyard, which left me devastated and destroyed any trust I had for most anyone unrelated to me.
That was last May and 1 year on although I've spent most of m existence in that time as a complete hermit, I was still able to make contact with various dealers to feed my pot addiction, I have spent at least £20 a day on it for far too long, I don't know why I have kept myself in this misery for so long. I'm so full of anxiety that since my break up with loser 2 I haven't even been able to maintain a relationship with my stoner friends. After a fall out with my best friend the other day (I say best friend but all we ever really did was sit around smoking and staring at a screen) I no longer feel like I have anything to stop me from quitting for good, moving on with my life and trying to restart my education.
So day 2 complete... Its 1.03AM here in UK and I am not at all tired. I've never relapsed with other drugs, but I've never been addicted to any other drug for as long as this and in a way weed has been quite a comfort to me at the worst of times, but I see now that its keeping me closed off from a world I used to want to be in, I need to face my problems not just forget about them. This is my first attempt at quitting and god knows I'm bloody determined to rid myself of it. I just wish i could sleep!!!
Love to you all. Stay strong.

Formato B4 - personal effects acounting document
Gracias! -

I had quite a scare early this morning then I visited this forum and, instead of all the posts, there was a terse note from Lefora administration stating that the Forum had been removed because of a violation of Terms of Service. I carefully read this document and found prohibitions about harassment, copyright violation, unlawful purposes, hacking, spamming, etc., but nothing about nudity. I wrote to Lefora tech support and asked just which rule our Forum had violated, and stating that I as moderator would prefer to deal with any offenses than have the entire Bare-2-Breakers Forum removed. A few hours later I got back a terse reply saying that it was a technical issue and their engineers were working on it. Apparently it is back up... at least for the time being. But then again everything in life is just for the time being, as the tragedy in Moore OK so painfully demonstrates.

I intend this thread to be quotations from, and links to, mention of our Bare-to-Breakers people in the mainstream news media.
I'll start it off with this quotation: "You know you're at a special party when there's a nude, beefy man who's waxed his whole body except for a smiley face made of chest hair."

Mil gracias

Yo Whats up everyone. im new to this forum i just literally joined like a few minutes ago, but anyway i heard about this forum from hockey advices vids on Youtube about quitting pot.
Let me start by saying i know 4 years isnt anything compared to how long some people have been dealing with their addictions, but its still been a pretty long time when i think about how iv been living my life lately. I started smoking weed about 4 years ago come this august , Fortunately i went through high school pretty much pot less, with the exception of trying it i think once or maybe twice no more than that. It was like a " meh that was alright , but no desire to do it again" type of thing as with most people probably. but after i graduated high school that summer a friend of mines introduced me to pot again, Once again i didn't think much of it so i smoked with him, but it was really when i found out a closer friend of mines smoked pot. i spent my first year out of high school going back to my old high school just to smoke pot with him and a few of his friends. I feel ashamed to say that was my routine for a year or pretty close to it. I would wake up, wait till about 2 o clock in the afternoon, and catch the bus to get to the school around 3 o clock to meet them, and we would go down to the park to smoke pot out of this bong one of them had.
Anyway i could go on all day about how sad i was and still am , but its whats been happening to me lately that concerns me and is what i seek help for most. iv tried quitting several times as most people, but like usual i always come back to it. I always tell myself "ill quit tomorrow, or the next day but ill get high today" you know?
but not anymore, i just smoked my last bong hit, which happened to be the last of my weed as well. tomorrow "march 21 2013" will mark the first day for me with no pot in nearly 2 years. i am very excited and pumped to do this and kick this habbit, but at the same time very nervouse and scared to be a 100% honest with you guys. I would really appreciate your guys support and any advice you could give me to help me with this long journey im set to embarking on ..
i will be logging in everyday to talk because i will need it, and im looking forward to making a bunch of sober minded friends that can help me get this weed shit out of my head mentally as well.. -

I have loved coming to this since 2004 but have to admit, the last two years even though 99% of the people are friendly, fun and supportive of nude and clothed alike all having fun, there has been a couple groups of 20 somethings, absolute immature jerks, both guys and gals, that either go way overboard with the super soakers and deliberately target the nude folks, or this year some real asshats dressed as bakers throwing powder on nude runners. The first time it was just a bit, but even people around me thought it rude, then the second time, a bunch of guys and gals, real assholes went way overboard. What posseses people to think that is cool? How would they feel if I came up to them and threw the same all over them? It is just mind boggling that they have no common sense as to how rude they are being.
So despite my fun with lots of other nice folks, if I have to endure attacks like this several times every year now, I just don't see myself coming back.
Very likely this is my last Bay to Breakers because of this bullshit. I do the Fremont Solstice thing in Seattle and everyone is so nice, absolutely zero of this crap happens.

Hi, My name is Jeff and I go by Job on the forums. I ride a 2012 Kymco Like 200i that I have had for 1 year. I now have 4,000 miles on it. I ride daily to work and for recreation. This scoot is a joy to ride, I top out at about 63 mph (GPS verified) and average 62-65 mpg. I have added a windshield, backrest, cup holder, and a Malossi kevlar belt, as well as modifying the intake track. I hope to take a weekend ride to GJ this summer. If anyone else from Farmington wants to ride let me know jbent1@hotmail.com. Job

I haven't been to Grand Junction in a while but I have been checking your web site out for a couple of months. I am glad to see an active scoot club. I wish that there were more scooter riders in the Farmington area. I look forward to getting a group started here. Enjoy the summer. Job
- I've been posting for a year now in the hopes of getting info on purchasing a couple of the B2B hats. Mine is getting worn out and I'd like a couple more. does anyone know who is selling them now? I've messaged Ted a couple times and gotten no response. I saw some people at the race this year with new ones and they said they got them here...Thanks, Grandpa Rex (Cancer survivor since April 2013 and hope to still be alive to do this again next year!)

Apreciadas y apreciadas,

UMMOA readys for full Diplomacy and Cultural Exchange in China
After the appointment of the Asian Citizenship Initiative INGO as the United Micronations Multi-Oceanic Archipelago Foreign Ministry (UMMOA FM) Diplomatic Agent in China and Asia on 9 May 2013, another UMMOA institution, Saint René Descartes University (StRDU), has also begun to expand its influence in China.
On 19 May 2013, the UMMOA Foreign Ministry (UMMOA FM) has granted de facto recognition to the People's Republic of China (PRC). China, through its non-censorship of the "Ryamecah Declaration", seems to be moving slowly either in the direction of a more open society, or at least in the direction of a society where UMMOA and genuine micronational culture are granted great tolerance, if not outright esteem.
This diplomatic development now allows the appointment of the Global Citizenship Union INGO as the Academic Agent of StRDU, and its full empowerment to fruitfully operate in the People's Republic of China, and in any other country that enjoys de facto recognition by the UMMOA Foreign Ministry (UMMOA FM).
This development also ensures full diplomatic readiness for the UMMOA Foreign Ministry (UMMOA FM).
StRDU and UMMOA FM appoint and empower GCU

May 19th has rolls around with haunting regularity. I am prompted to share this post as I have before in other years.
Forty-seven years ago today, May 19, 1966, a fine young man died. GK, a bright and dashing young lieutenant, recent West Point graduate, husband of a beautiful and charming young wife at home, a young man full of future promise, and much to live for, was Killed in Action in Vietnam.
GK was an artillery forward observer, accompanying an infantry company on operations in the Boi Loi Woods, a heavily jungled area about 40 miles NW of Saigon, when his unit came under fire from an enemy force in ambush position. An infantry soldier nearby fell wounded. GK dashed from his covered position to drag the wounded man to safety, surely saving the man’s life. When GK exposed himself again to retrieve the fallen man’s rifle, he was shot dead by a sniper.
A bright and promising life ended far too soon. As the years pass, one can only wonder what might have been. Rest in Peace, old friend. We remember.

I picked up a large lot of folk art dishes. I pulled out what I wanted to keep...mostly hard to find pieces (domed butter dish, wheat bread loaf, fluted cake plate to name a few). The rest I wanted to post here first & then will eventually try to craigslist. The seller got the lot from her Grandmother who evidently was a real good folk art "crazy" lady who collected in duplicate & triplicates to say the least :) & also hardly used her dishes. What she did use I've pulled out because she used them heavily as most of us do. The rest well I'm amazed at how they look seldom or never used....great condition :) I've taken 2 pics & wish I could post but for some reason it now looks a little different to attach pics & can't figure it out :( If interested in anything please email me sonnjab@aol.com & I will email pics.
Here's a list:
2 large canisters
1 med canister
1 sm canister (no lid)
3 lidded 1 qt crocks
1 lidded butter tub
2 rec bakers
1 square baker
1 oval baker (old style)
1 oval baker (new style)
big utensil crock
1 heart shaped plate
1 heart trivet
1 2qt bowl
1 pottery colander
8 sm bowls (smaller than cereal w/design out)
8 souper mugs
1 divided round veg tray
2 large augratins
1 lg center piece bowl
4 sm center piece bowls
1 oval lidded casserole
4 soap or scrubbie holders
1 pie baker

Buenas tardes.
