Two...The Cowboys of 09 are a statistally better team than last season..They are healthier, scoring a little more, giving up a lot less and have one of the best special teams in the league..
Three...The Cowboys of 09 have a one game lead in the division..The 08 version was three games behind the NYG and were playing for a wild card berth..This team is playing for a division title and a home game in the playoffs..

Hey Guys,
Here is a Community article written by B/R's Lewis Pollis. Feel free to weigh in!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I am not normally one to defend the establishment. As a person who frequently finds myself holding the minority opinion, I am uncomfortable praising the status quo, which is usually more than capable of patting itself on the back.
With that in mind, I humbly request that this article not be painted with the brush of propaganda or dismissed as an attempt to suck up to the bigwigs of Bleacher Report.
Anyone who is reading this has probably noticed the changes that have been made to the site. Most prominent have been the amendments to the Sportswriter Profile pages, which have been completely reformatted.
If you skim the new community forum, you will see that the modifications have not gone over very well. Perhaps the most visible and vocal promoter of this standpoint has been Daniel Barber, aka Hotnuke.
As with the vast majority of Bleacher Report writers, I do not actually know Mr. Barber. I had read a few of his articles, and he mine; I knew of his reputation as a frequent Article of the Day winner and one of the top writers on the site. I usually agreed with his opinions and was impressed by his prose.
Mr. Barber reacted quite strongly to the site’s changes. “I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT,” he wrote. “This shit absolutely sucks. I mean SUCKS.”
He criticized the lack of aesthetic appeal, expressed concern that there was no way to highlight his AOTDs, and was frustrated by the lack of specific answers he was getting from the B/R administrative staff.
Now, I don’t have a problem with complaining. Personally, I don’t think the profiles are so ugly that the “enjoyment of coming and writing for B/R will simply not be there,” but if it bothers him that much, he certainly has the right to say so.
My concern was over his threat that, if he didn’t start getting specific answers and promises to change soon, he would suspend his account and remove his articles from the site.
Again, as an isolated incident, this wouldn’t be that big of a deal. A guy gets frustrated and decides he has better ways to spend his time. That’s fine.
What I fear is the mindset that may have led to his ultimatum and subsequent action. It’s a potentially radioactive mentality that, if it spreads, would be cancerous to the B/R community: the attitude that we, the site’s contributors, have the right to make demands about how the site should do business.
While I hate to put it in such callous terms, the truth is that BleacherReport.com owes us nothing.
The people behind the curtain provide us with a place to express our passion for sports to an audience that will actually appreciate it. They help us network with other fans and expose our work to major media outlets. All for free.
Sure, they use us to get their advertising money. The more we write, the more people read. The more people read, the more advertisers write checks.
That’s not reason to say they are indebted to us; that’s the nature of a symbiotic relationship. The fact that we help them make money doesn’t mean the service they give away is any less valuable. Not to mention that, were it not profitable, there would be no Bleacher Report.
I say all this with hesitance, as it feels extremely uncomfortable to defend “the man” when he is quite capable of doing it for himself. But the fact of the matter is, short of not plagiarizing our articles and selling our contact information to spammers, the guys in San Francisco have no obligations to us writers.
The editors could belittle our writing, ridicule our opinions, and insult our mothers, yet it would still be a worthwhile endeavor (such disrespect would surely chase a number of writers away, but the service would remain as valuable as it is now).
And, in spite of all this, the B/R administrators have gone above and beyond my expectations for responsiveness.
While I realize that other members have been dissatisfied at times with the communication (or lack thereof) from the people at the top, I have been very impressed by my interactions with them. Whenever I’ve emailed someone about a question or problem, I heard back within a few hours; that’s more than I can say for most services that I actually pay for.
I don’t like the new profile layout either. I think that the biography section has been marginalized, the awards are too big, the Bulletin Board is disorganized, and that removing the pictures from the display of recent articles was a mistake.
But unlike some other writers, I didn’t think it destroyed the fun of Bleacher Report. I took Dave Morrison at his word that our feedback was being compiled and our issues would be addressed in the near future.
Lo and behold, less than a week after the initial changes were made, D-Mo penned an announcement in response to all the major problems people had raised about the site’s new look. Most of the popular suggestions, he said, would soon be implemented; he also addressed the ones that weren’t, explaining why he and the staff disagreed.
Can you imagine someone from Facebook or MySpace doing that?
Bleacher Report isn’t perfect. But we writers have a pretty good gig going for us. It’s important that we respect that, especially at this time of year.
It’s been 64 years after the first military detonations of atomic bombs, and the world has avoided their use in warfare since.
The B/R community has seen one Hotnuke explosion. If we don’t put a stop to it now, soon there will be no one left but cockroaches.

What caliber would be considered the best for hunting??? I work at a sporting goods store and a guy came in looking for a target and I proceeded to ask him what he was shooting. His reply ended up with him going outside and coming back in with a 5 ft tube and darts. We played around with it in our shooting range and I was instantly hooked. I have to get one now to go with my other arsinal of hunting paraphanlia. Also, with the little searching I did I managed to come to the conclusion that the longer the tube the better for accuracy and speed. Is this true???
Thanx in advance!!!

Montreal confirms return of Canadian GP
MONTREAL (AP) Montreal confirmed it's back on the Formula One schedule for five years, starting in 2010.
Mayor Gerald Tremblay and federal and provincial politicians told a news conference on Friday a deal has been struck for the race to be held in the city every year through 2014.
The race had been held at Montreal's Gilles-Villeneuve track every year since 1978 before being dropped this year in a financial dispute between local authorities and F1 impresario Bernie Ecclestone.
The decision was a blow to civic pride, coming after Montreal lost its Major League Baseball team and its status as Canada's business capital.
But Formula One Management reinstated it in September for next year, subject to negotiations.

Force India retains Sutil, Liuzzi for 2010 season
SILVERSTONE, England (AP) Force India will retain Adrian Sutil and Vitantonio Liuzzi as its drivers for the 2010 Formula One season.
"We are very pleased to retain the services of both Adrian and Tonio for another season," team owner Vijay Mallya said Friday. "Consistency is key at this stage in the team's development and for the first time in many years we will have the continuity of not only the same drivers, but also the same engine and senior management.
"With this stability now in place I truly believe we have an excellent platform to build on and move forward on our strong 2009 performance."
Force India finished ninth out of 10 teams with 13 points in the constructors' championship.
After three seasons in F1, the 26-year-old Sutil recorded his best finish in 2009: fourth at the Italian Grand Prix.
"I want to be in the points on a regular basis, maybe even challenging for the podium," the German said.
Liuzzi retains his seat after being promoted from his role as test and reserve driver in September for the remaining five races.
"It was always my goal to be back racing in 2010 and I've finally achieved it," the 28-year-old Italian said. "I feel the five races I did in 2009 were a bit of a warmup - get back racing, learn the car, get the feeling back. Now I've done that I feel ready to really push next season."
A decision on the third driver will be made after Paul di Resta of Britain and J.R. Hildebrand of the United States complete their tests next month in Jerez, Spain.

Rosberg to drive for Mercedes
FRANKFURT (AP) Nico Rosberg will drive for the new Mercedes Formula One team in 2010.
Mercedes last week acquired a majority stake in Brawn GP, which won the championship last season, and will race under its brand name for the first time since 1955.
Mercedes did not name its second driver Monday. Team chief Ross Brawn dismissed speculation that it would be Michael Schumacher, the retired seven-time champion. Brawn told Bild newspaper on Monday that Schumacher had no plans for a comeback.
Rosberg, son of former F1 champion Keke Rosberg, was born in Wiesbaden, Germany. The 24-year-old Rosberg drove for Williams the past four seasons, with a second place in Singapore in 2008 his best finish.
"Nico is a great talent and with four years of experience in Formula One, he will be able to make an immediate impact in our team," Brawn said in a Mercedes statement Monday.
"I am really looking forward to driving a Silver Arrow," Rosberg said.
Brawn, in the Bild interview, said rumors of an impending Schumacher comeback were media speculation and that "there is nothing to them."
Schumacher's manager, Willi Weber, said Sunday that the former champion had met with Mercedes bosses recently.
"I know that Michael spoke with Dieter Zetsche and Norbert Haug at the season's finale in Abu Dhabi," Weber said.
Zetsche is the CEO of Daimler AG, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz, and Haug is vice president of motor sport at Mercedes.
Schumacher retired in 2006. He abandoned plans for a temporary comeback this year with Ferrari because of a neck injury from a motorcycle crash.

BMW sells Formula 1 team to Peter Sauber
FRANKFURT (AP) German car maker BMW has agreed to sell its Formula One team to previous owner Peter Sauber, provided the team gets a place on the grid next season.
BMW announced in July that it would pull out of Formula One at the end of the season, citing the global economic downturn. The company said Friday that a previous agreement to sell the team to Qadbak Investments has been annulled.
"I'm the sole investor right now," Sauber told reporters at the team's base in Hinwil, Switzerland.
The 66-year-old owner said he planned to lead the team for just one season then find a successor.
Sauber said he was "very confident" that the FIA governing body would find a place on the grid for the team, which would use Ferrari engines.
The number of team employees will be cut from 388 to about 250, BMW said.
"That is not an enjoyable solution, but the best one available," Mario Theissen, BMW motor sports director, said.
BMW acquired a majority stake in Sauber in 2005.
"Our relationship with Peter Sauber has always been excellent and marked by absolute respect. We would like to express our thanks to Peter Sauber and the whole team for the excellent cooperation during the recent four years," BMW's development chief Klaus Draeger said.
BMW finished sixth in the constructors' championship last season. Its drivers were Nick Heidfeld of Germany and Robert Kubica of Poland.
Kubica has gone to Renault, while Heidfeld is without a team.

Force India tries Di Resta, Hildebrand for F1 role
SILVERSTONE, England (AP) Force India will give British driver Paul di Resta - cousin of IndyCar champion Dario Franchitti - and American talent J.R. Hildebrand a chance to test for a full-time role with the Formula One team.
Force India team owner Vijay Mallya said Tuesday the two drivers were being considered for a test and reserve driver role with the team next season. The three-day session will run in Jerez, Spain, from Dec. 1-3.
"Both of their showings in the simulator were excellent and we had no hesitations in offering them some valuable testing," Mallya said. "We will be looking at their performance on track very closely and should they perform well, as we are confident they will, we will look at a permanent role for one within the team in 2010."
Di Resta, 23, finished third in German touring series DTM with Mercedes last season. Hildebrand, 21, is the IndyLights series champion who becomes the first American to drive an F1 car since Scott Speed in 2007.
The test session, the first since the end of the season earlier this month, is designed to give young drivers more experience since in-season testing is banned.
"It's an exciting opportunity for me as F1 has always been my dream and I feel this is taking me one step closer to achieving it," Di Resta said.
Hildebrand said he can't wait to get his first taste of F1.
"I know it's a big challenge but I feel ready to tackle it," said Hildebrand, who holds a place at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology but has been granted a two-year deferral to pursue his racing career. "As an American we don't necessarily have the culture of F1 but anything that's so impressive and cutting-edge demands respect. I hope I can do the car and myself justice."
The BMW Sauber team, which is pulling out of F1, said it will go ahead with a test for 18-year-old drivers Alexander Rossi and Esteban Gutierrez. The German team said it had promised the duo a chance to test drive an F1 car before it decided to withdraw from the sport, and that going back on their pledge "was not an option."
Rossi, an American from Nevada City, California, finished fourth in the International Formula Masters series this season. Gutierrez won the 2008 Formula BMW Europe title.

Manager: Schumacher met Mercedes bosses
FRANKFURT (AP) Seven-time Formula One champion Michael Schumacher has met with Mercedes bosses, his manager said Sunday, amid speculation that the driver may come out of retirement to join the new F1 team.
"I know that Michael spoke with Dieter Zetsche and Norbert Haug at the season's finale in Abu Dhabi," said Willi Weber, Schumacher's manager.
Zetsche is the CEO of Daimler AG, the parent company of Mercedes-Benz, and Haug is vice president of motor sport at Mercedes.
Mercedes has taken a majority stake of Brawn GP - which won the Formula One championship this year - and will in future race under its own name.
The new team has not yet announced its driver lineup the next season, but has retained Ross Brawn as its chief. Brawn was closely linked to Schumacher's success at Ferrari.
Schumacher retired in 2006 after winning a record seven F1 titles. He abandoned plans for a temporary comeback this year with Ferrari because of a neck injury from a motorcycle crash.
Schumacher's spokeswoman, Sabine Kehm, said two days ago that a comeback was "highly unlikely at the moment."
Mercedes is believed to want at least one German driver in its ranks.

GVSAman, Hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving. My question for you; Is playing 3v3 tournaments good or necessary for a players develpment? I can see for getting many touches, and working in tight spaces. What are your opinions of playing 3v3 tourneys? Is it a thing f the past, after a certain age? Waste of money? If so what else can players do to keep getting touches on a ball during down time of the year? Thank you.
Québec City Thundercats GM Jordan Schartner pulled the trigger on a major trade today. Frustrated by what seems to be a Liberty Cup hangover, Schartner shipped out team-leading scorer and franchise player Pavel Datsyuk to Indianapolous. The 'Cats will welcome two-way centre Mikko Koivu and point-producing defenseman Kyle Quincey in exchange.
When asked for comment, Québec's head coach Greg Adams was surprised by the news: "I thought Pavel was here to stay, but that's what happens when the team struggles. I'm sure Koivu and Quincey will look good in the purple and silver sequins."
The Thundercats also announced the outright release of Jordan Leopold. Insiders say the 29-year-old defender was only on the team because he shares a first name with the neurotic GM.

La mia risposta è no, assolutamente no.

Danica Patrick is expected to announce on Monday that she's re-signing with newly renamed Andretti Autosport.
It has previously been reported that Patrick is close to signing a three-year deal to remain in the IndyCar series racing for Michael Andretti's team.
GoDaddy.com, who has served as an associate sponsor for her team, is rumored to be her primary sponsor for the 2010 season.
GoDaddy.com's home page confirms a "big announcement with Danica Patrick" on Monday but doesn't include details.
What also isn't clear is how this will affect Patrick's rumored future in NASCAR. She's been heavily linked to JR Motorsports, who was sponsored by GoDaddy.com this past season in the NASCAR Nationwide series. GoDaddy.com will sponsor Mark Martin's Hendrick Motorsports Sprint Cup car in 2010. JR Motorsports and Hendrick Motorsports merged operations when Dale Earnhardt Jr. joined Hendrick Motorsports in 2008.
Patrick has been a driver in the IRL since 2005, the year she became the first female driver to lead the Indianapolis 500. Patrick also was the first woman to win an IndyCar event in 2008 at the Indy Japan 300.
The Web site domain company GoDaddy.com has been a secondary sponsor for her car since the 2007 season and Patrick has starred in racy GoDaddy.com commercials for the Super Bowl in the past.
So, I noticed this with the Tiger Woods stories breaking today, but it's a much bigger issue.
BR SHOULD NEVER run a story, especially on their front page, that is teeming with plagarism.
I am sick of seeing breaking news stories that 1) don't cite sources (because clearly, no one on BR is breaking the news, they're merely reporting it) 2) they take the original story and just change around words in their post
This is just a bad trend for BR, and something needs to be done. I know it asks you to put a source when you tag your article as breaking news, but that's not enough. If you're story doesn't cite it's source in a breaking story, then it gets deleted.
Period.
How does everyone else feel about this?
I'm a Fanatic cheers
