The anti-Hamilton, if you will...
DANI CLOS. Here´s what he had to say about his new job as Friday driver at HRT:
"I'm very proud to be a part of HRT Formula 1 Team. It is a great step in my career, something that I have dreamt of all my life and, finally, my dream is starting to come true," Clos said. "I'm very impressed with the job the team is doing; they're achieving fantastic things in a short space of time.
"The team has changed a lot since we met at the Abu Dhabi tests and I think it's a great opportunity and an honor to form a part of this new team. What they're achieving is very important for motorsport in our country and has a lot of potential.
"Also, being alongside Pedro de la Rosa is very important for me, since he and Karthikeyan can positively contribute to me becoming a better driver."
So HRT is a lifelong dream, and De La Rosa and little Narain will help you improve? No wonder your GP2 record isn´t exactly spectacular...

Time management is very important in the Sport of Bullseye shooting. So lets talk about using the available time in the Slow Fire. We'll discuss timed and rapid fire next week.
It is not unusual for a competitor to shoot 10 Slow Fire shots in less than 4 minutes, and many take even less time. Also it is not unusual to see a Timed Fire string shot in less than 12 seconds and Rapid fire in 7 to 8 seconds. In the Slow Fire portions of a match the
shooter has 10 minutes to fire 10 shots. On an indoor range where wind is not a factor the shooter should take at least 5 minutes to shoot the 10 shots, or one shot every 30 seconds. On an outdoor range use as much of the 10 minutes as necessary by waiting for periods of little or no wind to fire a well aimed shot. From the time the pistol is raised the shot should be fired within 15 seconds. After 15 seconds the arm starts to weaken and the chance of a well aimed shot is degraded. After 15 seconds or after the shot is fired rest the pistol on the bench for approximately 15 seconds. During this rest period review the elements of your shot plan then raise the pistol and start the cycle again. Since this 30 second cycle allows twice as much time as is needed to shoot a Slow Fire string it is not critical to fire a shot every time you raise the pistol. If it doesn’t feel right lower the pistol, review your shot plan then take your well aimed shot. -

So last night the #3 womens team in the country is playing the #18 womens team in the country, so it's not unreasonable to think that two ranked teams could play at least a somewhat competitive game right? Wrong. Final score 80-38. Really!? Really!!?? There are about 5 legit womens teams in the country, and the rest of them should be playing in YWCA leagues.

I just finished 3 easy to construct mini broad head darts made from 0.060" dia flag wire that are 6.9" long and weigh ~ 3.45 grams each, on average.
My flag wire is made of low carbon steel (like a coat hanger) approximately 21" in length, comes with a 3.25" X 2.5" plastic orange flag and the wire is 0.060" in dia. so cutting it in thirds yields 3 pieces that are ~ 6.92" long.
I then take one end and hammer it "flat" against the tiny anvil on my vise, heat it to yellow heat with a propane torch (not red heat, not orange heat but yellow heat) then pound on it again, repeat the yellow heat and pound it once more. That combination of two yellow heats and 3 pounding cycles seems to give me the rough shape and thickness I wanted for this project and yields a thin strong (work hardened) "blade".
I then file these "forged" blade tips to shape and sharpened the edges using various combinations of files, sanding foam pads, 3M "scour pads" and if I want to get fancy, some polishing compound with a Dremel. The leading edge is so shape it can leave a line when dragged across my fingernail. I then add a cone attached with hot glue. These tips measure about 1/2" long (from the sharpened tip to where the wire is round again) X ~ 3/16" at it's widest part.
To minimize the amount hot glue used I first preheat the cone end of the dart with a candle so it will easily accept a small amount of hot glue and not cool it down. I then quickly move the cone in to place and make sure it's concentric etc. and let it set.
Firing one of these mini's in to a 2"x4" piece of wood drove the dart so deep I could not extract it with pliers. I had to attach visegrips to the wire shaft and pry it out using a screwdriver for leverage. I could have cut barbs into them but it would make it difficult to remove from my target but if made for hunting I recommend barbs. So far I'm pleased with the results of these mini's.

Im loving the new designs that have been coming out over the last 18 months, This one looks like it is a very stiff boat structurally with the way its built and the use of curves for strength. Im guessing they'll end up woth 600-700 grams of corrector weights once its done. Cant wait to see one sailing.

hello there im just wondering what the superstock trophy challenge is is it for chch cars or can any1 come like nelson drivers maybe even palmy drivers cheers

No, I'm not David Coverdale.
I've been writing for B/R since December, 29. I'm writing almost every day and I've published 38 articles, 90% of them about the Philadelphia Eagles. Today I wrote an article about LeSean McCoy and if he shall receive a new contract from Philly (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1062587-philadelphia-eagles-will-lesean-mccoy-get-a-new-contract). The article got published and was on the front page of the team news for about 2 hours, listed as the 5th story for most of the time and not higher than 4th. Afterwards, it went out of the front page. While I don't want to be a little baby crying, there were articles 10 hours old that remained on the front page even after mine got out.
I had articles on the front page for more than 12 hours and I'm grateful for that. Additionally, I'm not bashing other people's work by any means. I respect everyone around and I like the fact that so many people are contributing stories about the Eagles. But seriously, McCoy's contract situation is that "anti-commercial"?
I hate complaining, I really do. I apologise in advance if I "sound" like a *****, but I think my work deserved a bit more.
If anyone from the B/R staff replies, please, don't give me one of the prewritten, "sales-pitchlike" answers.
With all due respect...

NOTE - TO AVOID TEAMS BEING DISADVANTAGED WHEN THEY SET CORRECTLY - TEAMS THAT GET THE SETTINGS WRONG (STARTING WEEK 2) WILL BE DEDUCTED ONE SHOT FOR EVERY PLAYER THAT POSTS - IF A SECOND OCCURENCE THEN THE GROUP WILL FORFEIT THAT MATCH - SEE RULES 3.3, 3.4 AND 3.5 BELOW
********1. Where possible all matches will be played on the same day.
2. All Groups will set up using single submission - players can play as many times as they like but can only post once.
3. All fixtures will be drawn using a random fixture generator.
3.1 We have created a random course and settings generator and the course and settings will be sent to all groups on the Thursday (a copy of this random generator is available to all admins on request).
3.2 Settings will also be posted on this site and also the EA Forum under Tournaments.
3.3 After the teething problems of week one we have listened to the feedback from various groups and from now if a group starts the match with the wrong settings then they will be deducted one shot per player for that match.
3.4 If a group sets up a subsequent match with incorrect settings they will forfeit that match with a 20 stroke victory going to their opponents (-20 : 0).
3.5 All groups must try to have their match starting as close to 9am GMT as possible. We are aware of time zone differences and would urge you to contact your opponents to arrange the same start time if 9am is going to cause a problem. Failure to do so within reason will result in a 15 shot penalty for your group. The decision of the FIOGA board will be final in this matter. Start times of noon will be expected but the important thing is to contact your opponents !!
4. New TW12, Fantasy courses and white and gold tees have been excluded - as have grid-less, advanced or expert aiming. (different competition coming soon for those that like the more extreme settings).
5. No previews on any match.
6. Top 15 scores to count - these will be totalled and the lowest score wins.
7. In order not to penalise small groups - a minimum score of -9 will be allocated to positions 11 -15 if posted scores are worse than this.
7.1 This will be the case regardless of whether groups have managed to post 15 scores or not. For example - a group posts 11 scores with 11th place being -8. they will get -9 for positions 11,12,13,14 & 15.
7.2 If the same group had posted 18 scores they will still receive -9 for positions 11-15 ONLY if this IMPROVES their total.
8. In the event of a group pulling out of an individual match - the opposing team will be given the 2 points - if a group withdraws from the league midway through - all previous results against that group will result in 2 points to their opponents.
9. Pitching on greens will be permitted - as there is no accurate way to monitor this, and it is permitted in the game in any event.
10. If EA release a new course this will NOT be used during the course of this league but may be used in future ones.
11. Players with different TWO names (more than one account) WILL be able to play for more than one team (using their different aliases), however the SAME TWO name cannot play for more than one Group (example: RustyBin5 can only play for Dodos).
12. All available equipment currently available in the TWO pro shop is permitted to be used - this includes any new equipment that becomes available during the course of the league.
13. True-swing and 3-click methods are both permitted.
14. All Group Admin's have to provide to the Premier League Administration with results of their group as well as the results of their opponent (double control) by noon on the Sunday per email. A image example you can find here - EXAMPLE FOR THE GROUP ADMIN'S and a video HOWTO make a Result File of the League Game for the group Admin's is below.
15. League Table of current standings will be posted here in the PL Results every Sunday where possible.
16. Violation of the FIOGA is violation of the league. It will be treated as offence behaviour and may be penalised with exclusion of the league for single players as well the whole participating group (from certain period to lifetime suspension).
Note: If necessary, the RULE BOARD will be extended with the missing explanations in the sections during the Premier League.
Extended parts in the PL Rules:3.3 After the teething problems of week one we have listened to the feedback from various groups and from now if a group starts the match with the wrong settings then they will be deducted one shot per player for that match.
3.4 If a group sets up a subsequent match with incorrect settings they will forfeit that match with a 20 stroke victory going to their opponents (-20 : 0).

I was encouraged by this afternoon. Particularly in the first half I thought that we passed the ball much better, were strong in the challenge, and played good positive football. It is the first time in a while that I have felt we have performed at that level. Cheltenham were the better team in the second half, but even so, we fully deserved the point. IMO Townsend had an excellent game along with men of the match Purdie and Green. There are a lot of inexperienced kids out there, and we need the experienced guys to lead by example, which I felt happened today.
Also congrats to the club for getting the game played when so many were off. A point is better than a game in hand.
